The Amer International Group, based in Shenzhen, China, has placed an order with SMS group for eleven CONTIROD® copper wire rod plants (CONTIROD® is a registered trademark of Aurubis Belgium). The new plants will produce 8 mm copper wire rod, to be used in the production of a range of different electrical conductors.

Bar-in-Coil Line for Arjas Steel, India

Special steel producer Arjas Steel has selected Danieli to supply a new bar-in-coil line (Garret coiler line) to be installed at its integrated steel plant in Tadipatri, India, to produce bars in coil for both the domestic and international markets.
