At the end of 2019, Baoshan Iron and Steel Co Ltd. (Baosteel) commissioned an integrated control center (ICC) for the CC3 two-strand continuous caster. In December 2019, a continuous pickling line (CPL) supplied by Primetals Technologies started up at Chinese steel producer Shougang Jingtang United Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. (Shougang Jingtang). The pickling line is designed to process around 1.5 million metric tons of hot rolled strip per year.
