SMS group and Tata Steel have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to make arrangements for conducting a joint industrial demonstration of SMS’s innovative EASyMelt technology at Tata’s blast furnace E in Jamshedpur, India. Epiroc becomes the first company in the mining industry to sign a delivery agreement with Swedish steelmaker SSAB for SSAB Zero™ – a fossil carbon emission-free recycled steel produced using fossil-free energy sources.
